Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a Plant Shift Supervisor to lead operations in producing and repackaging compressed and liquid gases into cylinders. You will coordinate operators, ensure safety, and uphold SOPs to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree / technical degree or certification preferred.
• 2+ years in a leadership role within a distribution environment preferred.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain plant operations in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
• Maintain compliance with safety bulletins.
• Operate equipment used in repackage and analyzing gases into cylinders per SOPs.
• Maintain reports and training for production facility.
• Guide and support staff to meet customer needs per SOPs.
• Regularly inspect and maintain filling equipment and monitoring devices.
• Administer performance standards per policy to ensure team alignment.
• Load/unload cylinders and record type/quantity as needed.
