Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to join our manufacturing plant team. You will oversee the production shift, ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met, and lead a team to achieve production targets.

Your leadership and manufacturing expertise will be essential for efficient operations and continuous improvement. You will monitor processes, drive improvements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain shift records while promoting a culture of safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred for this role.
Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor in manufacturing or similar.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of production operators, ensuring targets and quality standards.
Responsible for shift performance including productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
Set daily production goals and priorities and communicate to the team.
Monitor processes, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct inspections to ensure SOPs and QC measures are followed.
Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to optimize flow.
Train and develop operators to enhance skills.
Maintain production records and logs.
