Job summary

NKC Health is seeking an on-site Plant Operator to support the Plant Operations Department by performing all maintenance and operation of mechanical and electrical systems within the healthcare facility.

The role requires 3 years of general plant operations experience, preferably in healthcare, and a solid knowledge of healthcare equipment, electrical systems and basic computer controls. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years in general plant operations, healthcare preferred.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with clinical and non-clinical equipment is a plus.

SUMMARY

Supports the Plant Operations Department by providing full service of operations and maintenance of all the mechanical and electrical systems, furnishings, structural maintenance, clinical and non-clinical equipment, and other devices required in the health care setting.

EXPERIENCE

3 years in general plant operations with a preference in the healthcare industry

SPECIAL SKILLS

General knowledge of computers, computer logic controllers, maintenance and repair of healthcare mechanical, electrical, medical gas, and production equipment and systems

OTHER

Mathematical and analytical skills, good team player skills, and positive attitude in our workplace environment

EDUCATION

Preferred: High School or Equivalent
