Securitas USA is seeking a dependable Security Officer for an industrial site in Queen City, TX. The role involves patrols, access control, incident reporting, and monitoring site operations to maintain a safe environment.

You will work with site personnel to ensure adherence to safety requirements, enforce security policies, and respond to alarms or incidents as needed. This on-site position requires clear communication and independent judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Texas Security License (or ability to obtain before hire).
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer experience required, including basic data entry, email, and report writing.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols of the facility, warehouse, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor site access points and verify employee, visitor, and contractor credentials.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security violations, unsafe conditions, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs using computer-based systems.
• Monitor facility operations and respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents as required.
• Assist with traffic control and visitor direction when needed.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Communicate effectively with management, employees, emergency responders, and fellow security officers.
• Enforce site-specific security policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by site management or security supervisors.

Security Officer - Industrial Site

Location: Queen City, TX
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Security Officer to provide security services at a busy industrial facility in Queen City, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through patrols, access control, incident reporting, and monitoring site operations. Security Officers will work closely with site personnel while ensuring compliance with all facility safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safety Requirements

The industrial facility requires the following personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn at all times while on duty:

• Hard Hat
• Safety Glasses
• High-Visibility Safety Vest
• Steel-Toed Boots

Strict adherence to all site safety policies and procedures is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent walking patrols across large industrial areas.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and perform routine patrol duties.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift.

Work Environment

• Active industrial and manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to noise, moving equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures.
• PPE required at all times while on site.
• Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
