Job summary

Vallourec North America in Houston seeks a Plant Scheduler to monitor inventories, track production progress, and allocate unfinished tube to customer orders. This role works across the Planning Department to balance demand with material availability.

The candidate should have 3+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and SAP/APS experience; associate degree preferred. SAP/APS skills are a plus for contributing to scheduling efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• SAP and APS systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventories and production progress, allocating unfinished tube to orders.
• Set up routing steps per order in a legacy system.
• Plan and schedule production to balance customer demand with inventory controls.
• Track and report on aged inventory and material movement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory Control, Upstream Planning, Operations, Sales, and Management.
