Job summary

SPP Miami, part of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a Plant Scheduler in Hialeah, FL to coordinate production with sales, service and shipping. The role requires overseeing inventories, BOL verification, and railcar coordination to ensure timely order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will manage roll stocks, schedule machine operations, and handle system issues with IT and vendors, maintaining adherence to policies and safety standards. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; experience in corrugated scheduling preferred.
• Ability to read production reports and interpret procedures.
• Strong communication with internal teams and customers.
• Proficient in Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production machines in the most effective and efficient way possible.
• Order roll stock and coordinate with Plant Manager the unloading and release of railcars.
• Manage the roll stocks in the warehouse.
• Lead monthly inventories at the remote warehouse and SPP warehouse with inventory team to ensure proper scanning and entry into Axiom.
• Verify BOLs from trucks and trains to ensure proper system receipt.
• Coordinate with railcar operations to release railcars before deadlines.
• Coordinate production activity with sales, service and shipping to ensure order handling.
• Work with Customer Service on orders and potential issues.
• Handle system issues with vendors, CTI Solutions and IT Department.
• Inform shipping when adding or changing orders; modify schedule after hours if needed.
• Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
