Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a proactive Safety Professional to support cement plant operations in Nazareth, PA. You will partner with plant leadership to foster a strong safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role involves leading safety initiatives, conducting inspections and investigations, coaching teams, and monitoring program compliance to reduce risk across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety initiatives in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations; MSHA knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze safety data and trends.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives that promote a proactive, injury-free workplace culture.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and eliminate hazards.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to leaders and employees on safe work practices.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Analyze safety trends and recommend practical solutions that improve performance and reduce risk.
