Job summary

California-Dairies, Inc. in California's dairy plant seeks a versatile Plant Relief to cover varying shifts across the production floor.

You will rotate through operations, sanitation, receiving, HTST cleanup, and other tasks, adapting to daily labor needs while maintaining safety and quality. Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED, be able to obtain forklift, Pasteurizer, Weigher & Sampler, Charm Test, Yard Truck licenses in CA, possess good judgment and teamwork, and perform duties

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good judgement when carrying out duties as assigned.
• Able to get along with coworkers, management, customers and vendors per policies.
• Must be quick and efficient and work safely at all times.
• Ability to run equipment efficiently and follow SOPs.
• Basic math and statistics reasoning required.
• Good technical skills to disassemble/assemble equipment.
• Ability to understand written or spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow and understand all SOPs.
• Pasteurize milk and milk products per law.
• Sample and weigh products as required by law.
• Work on all shifts as requested by supervisor across multiple departments.
• Climb stairs, ladders; work in confined spaces when needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and clean floors, walls, machines, pipes.
• Assist with break and lunch relief; cover vacations as assigned.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
• Adhere to SQF / QA, GMP, Safety policies; production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
