Job summary

Arkema Inc in Alsip, IL, is looking for a Maintenance & Technology Manager to lead the maintenance team, drive reliability improvements, and oversee the Mechanical Integrity program and related safety responsibilities.

The role reports to the Alsip Plant Manager and partners with site leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, support new product scale-ups, control system management, and process improvements. This is a full-time on-site position at the Alsip facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years’ experience in latex production, manufacturing plant/process, or project engineering environment preferred.
• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strategic thinker with analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Oversee the Mechanical Integrity program and regulatory compliance (PSM).
• Drive Engineering & Technical initiatives to enhance capacity, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate minor capital projects and ISCC+ registration activities.
• Develop training and procedures for the maintenance group.
