Job summary

U.S. Silica is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance at our Lamesa, TX facility. This role ensures safe, reliable operation of plant equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement programs.

The Maintenance Manager provides leadership to the maintenance team and partners with Operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime, directing planning, RCA efforts, and capital projects as needed.

Qualifications

Leadership experience managing maintenance teams in heavy industrial environments.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning/scheduling.
Knowledge of MSHA requirements and regulations applicable to mining operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage maintenance activities including preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency work.
Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Identify opportunities to reduce risk via training, hazard identification, and continuous improvement.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for maintenance staff and contractors.
Plan, prioritize, schedule, and coordinate maintenance based on production needs and resources.
Lead root cause analyses of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Monitor performance trends and maintain accurate maintenance records.
