Job summary

Biospringer in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Superintendent to lead maintenance operations, manage capital projects and drive reliability across the BSNAC plant. The role partners with production, maintenance teams and external contractors to resolve equipment, utility and facility issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology with 5 years of maintenance/engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and drawings.
• Ability to read and develop technical drawings and CAD files.
• Proficiency with CAD, spreadsheets and email software; able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations to ensure reliable equipment and plant performance.
• Manage capital projects, preventive maintenance, and maintenance budgets.
• Coordinate with production, contractors and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop and track maintenance reliability KPIs and backlog improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and cGMPs; oversee documentation updates.
