MOVA Metals, a global technology leader in metal recovery, is seeking an experienced Reliability/Maintenance Engineer for our Texas facility. You will drive preventive maintenance, root-cause analyses, and reliability improvements across maintenance, engineering, and production teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, designing changes to improve uptime, and applying Lean techniques to minimize waste and cost while ensuring safe, compliant operations at our Freeport plant.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in related field or 15 years related experience.
• At least five years of work-related skill in maintenance or reliability engineering.
• Preference given to candidates with root cause problem solving and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Mansioni

• Foster a plant wide preventive maintenance culture within maintenance, engineering and production groups.
• Perform problem root cause analysis based on data and implement corrective action.
• Maintain the plant’s non-destructive testing systems to the current level of technology.
• Assist in coordination of training for the plant's maintenance employees on reliability-related skills.
• Design and install new equipment or facilities, and modifications to existing equipment to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques to maximize asset uptime and minimize production waste.
• Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products.
• Apply statistical methods to determine manufacturing processes and production standards.
• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems and maximize equipment reliability.
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Review production schedules and engineering specs to understand manufacturing methods and activities.
