Job summary

Calumet is seeking a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer to lead the plant preventive maintenance program and provide engineering services to optimize equipment life and reliability. You will schedule plant maintenance personnel, contractors and vendors, keeping projects on time and within budget in a safe, environmentally responsible manner.

Responsibilities include designing and managing predictive and preventive maintenance systems, applying reliability tools, and coordinating capital projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing plant or equipment related roles.
• Willing to work off hours including nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Champions reliability in assigned areas and provides technical assistance to resolve equipment design, operation and maintenance problems.
• Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and track implementation through resolution.
• Design and manage plant predictive & preventive maintenance systems and guide others in utilization.
• Utilize reliability tools such as failure calculations, failure evaluations, and cost and risk analysis to evaluate and prioritize reliability issues.
• Plan and manage process unit and boiler turnarounds, including cost control and safety considerations.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure equipment operates per specifications.
