Pretium Packaging is seeking an onsite Quality Control Manager for our Salt Lake City, Utah plant. You will lead all quality activities, manage a team of inspectors, and partner with Operations to ensure products meet customer and internal standards.

The role requires 5+ years in quality leadership in manufacturing, with a hands-on, data-driven approach and strong cross-functional influence. This position offers growth in a fast-paced packaging environment and requires presence on the production

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, multi-shift operation.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience working cross-functionally with plant leadership and influencing decision-making.
• Hands-on presence on the production floor.

Aufgaben

• Lead all quality activities within the plant, including incoming materials, in-process inspections, and finished goods
• Build, develop, and lead a team of quality technicians and inspectors across multiple shifts
• Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues in real time
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Monitor and improve key quality metrics (scrap, defects, customer complaints, first-pass yield)
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
• Support and lead customer audits and quality system certifications
• Establish and maintain standard work, inspection processes, and documentation
• Act as the escalation point for quality concerns, including the authority to stop production when necessary
