Accounting Search is seeking a Plant Quality Lead to oversee all quality activities within a manufacturing facility. You will lead and develop the Quality Engineering team, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, while driving cross-functional improvements with Operations and Engineering.

The role focuses on detecting defects, addressing customer concerns, and sustaining a culture of quality and accountability across the plant. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of quality experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier environment.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or direct people-management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive customer requirements.
• Experience leading and developing Quality Engineers.
• Proven ability to manage customer quality issues, audits, and corrective actions.

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the plant Quality Engineering team.
• Oversee daily quality activities and ensure processes meet customer and internal requirements.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Lead resolution of customer complaints, corrective actions, and 8D responses.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Oversee APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA activities.
• Monitor quality metrics such as customer PPM, scrap, rework, and COQ.
• Lead internal, external, and customer audits.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to drive process improvements.
• Communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives to plant leadership.
