Job summary

The Plant Quality Lead oversees all quality activities in the manufacturing facility, leading the Quality Engineering team to ensure compliance with customer requirements and IATF 16949. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of quality experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier environments.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or direct people-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive customer requirements.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
• Proven ability to manage customer quality issues, audits, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the plant Quality Engineering team.
• Oversee daily quality activities and ensure processes meet requirements.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per IATF 16949 & customer needs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Drive audits, containment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
