Job summary

Silgan Closures is seeking a Plant Quality Assurance Manager for its Champaign, IL facility. This key leadership role involves ensuring compliance with customer and food safety requirements, while driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and operational performance.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Quality or related fields, along with extensive manufacturing quality and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with audits, compliance, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's Quality Management System and Food Safety Program.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
