Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Mobile, AL is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve quality systems and controls to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction. You will lead PFMEA, Control Plans, and Six Sigma projects, partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance to reduce defects and cost of non-performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or 5 years' related experience, with preferred Lean/ Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years' manufacturing quality experience.
• Develop and implement PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Lead Six Sigma projects (DMAIC) and root-cause analysis (8D, 5 Why).

Responsibilities

• Lead PFMEA creation and analysis for processes lacking risk assessment.
• Develop and implement control plans and process controls.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap, defects, and CON-P.
