Job summary

ZF Group in Gray Court, SC, seeks a Plant Quality Engineer to lead major problem-solving projects, investigate root causes, and drive continuous improvement across the plant. You will collaborate with Quality Engineers, Engineering, and Operations to improve product quality and operational performance.

The role requires 3–4 years of quality-centric experience, a BS in engineering, and strong knowledge of automotive quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or problem-solving.
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality requirements and lean principles.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measurement data.
• Experience creating procedures and training materials.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support major problem-solving projects and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation and data systems.
• Create and deliver training on problem-solving methodologies.
• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Support customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on quality tools and systems.
• Participate in engineering changes to meet quality objectives.
