Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer for our Macomb, MI facility. You will collaborate with operations and engineering to ensure defect-free delivery, analyze complex problems, and drive corrective actions through data-driven investigations.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing nonconformances, and communicating with Program Managers and customers to uphold aerospace quality standards. Strong STEM background and AS9100 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading machined component drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection to ensure high-quality products.
• Analyze problems and derive effective solutions; communicate findings to program managers and leadership.
• Lead nonconformance investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Review customer drawings and specifications and ensure flow-downs are understood.
