Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Quality Manager for the Mason City Plant to lead the Quality Chain Management System, driving zero defects from raw materials to finished goods in a food-safe environment.

You will manage plant quality labs, ensure compliance with US regulatory standards, develop KPIs, coach teams, and oversee budgeting and talent development. This role involves day shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• CQE experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of USDA/FDA regulatory requirements and food safety.
• Experience with DMAIC/DFSS, Lean, metrology, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Implement and assure compliance to Food Safety, Regulatory and Quality policies.
• Lead QRMP implementation and plant quality policies.
• Ensure USDA and FDA regulations are met at the site.
• Maintain robust food safety programs (HACCP, sanitation, GMP, traceability).
• Develop plant Quality KPIs and scorecards.
• Audit quality systems and ensure documentation supports compliance.
