Job summary

Novares Grand Rapids is seeking a Plant QHSE Leader to oversee quality systems and health, safety, and environmental programs in our manufacturing operation. You will partner with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive world-class quality performance and regulatory compliance.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong problem-solving, a track record of corrective actions, and experience with IATF/ISO standards and Automotive Core Tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with automotive quality standards and process improvement.
• Knowledge of IATF and ISO standards.
• Proficiency with Automotive Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve product quality across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for customer and supplier quality issues.
• Coordinate containment, sorting, recovery, and corrective actions.
• Support process qualification and product launches.
• Train production personnel on quality tools and standards.
• Lead quality initiatives across manufacturing workshops and production areas.
• Stop production or block shipments when customer risk identified.
• Contribute to health, safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
