Job summary

Air Liquide Large Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to drive plant projects from proposal through execution. You will coordinate with technical, procurement, quality and manufacturing teams to define scope, craft execution plans, and monitor KPIs.

The role requires field support, risk assessment, and effective communication across all levels. You will collaborate with the Plant Projects Director on initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering
• 3+ years working experience in engineering, design, project management, operations, finance or procurement
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong organizational and people management skills
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on proposal phase, establish cost sheet, and negotiate contracts
• Build and foster project organization, define scope and execution strategy
• Coordinate with technical, procurement, quality and manufacturing teams
• Track progress toward project KPIs and ensure safety standards
• Support field activities and document learnings and status reports
• Partner with the Project Manager across all project phases
