Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company in Washington Court House, OH seeks a Plant Project Engineer to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing from unloading to packaging, supporting operations and capital project delivery.

You will partner with engineering and operations to implement new products and process changes, ensure compliance with EOHS, quality and regulatory standards, and mentor maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and PFDs.
• Willingness to support a 24/5 manufacturing operation and on-call start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects from definition to execution, including planning and budgeting.
• Oversee design, installation, startup, and tech transfer for new products/equipment.
• Lead process improvements to improve reliability, quality, safety, and cost per pound.
• Serve as primary resource to technicians for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Maintain specifications and procedures aligned with KPI goals and Quality/EHS standards.
• Develop and transfer factory SOPs for new products and process improvements.
