Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is hiring a Plant Project Engineer in Washington Court House, Ohio to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing systems, from unloading to packaging. You will manage capital projects, support daily plant operations, and oversee technology transfer for batching, processing, and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Processing Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and PFDs.
• Ability to support a 24/5 manufacturing operation, including working flexible shifts, weekends, or holidays, and maintaining on-call availability during project start-ups.
• Demonstrated capability to ensure manufacturing asset compliance with local, state, federal, and internal safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital project management from definition to training and handover.
• Design, install, start-up, troubleshoot new products and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and implement process improvements to improve quality, reliability, and cost per pound.
• Serve as primary resource to operating technicians for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain specifications and SOPs for processing and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with EOHS, Quality, and Regulatory standards.
