Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in the USA (PA) seeks a Plant Project Engineer to lead capital projects from conception through commissioning. You will partner with maintenance, operations, quality and safety teams to ensure plant needs are met and projects align with Campbell's standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of manufacturing project management experience; PMP and Lean Six Sigma are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • PMP certification and Lean Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, quality and safety teams to align projects with plant needs.
  • Develop and execute CAPEX projects from $25k to $1,000k+.
  • Develop project scopes, detailed engineering designs/layouts and specifications.
  • Direct and execute design, installation, construction, and commissioning of projects to ensure a seamless transition to operations.
  • Manage and control budgets, provide cost forecasts and cash flow projections.
  • Provide technical and troubleshooting support for operations and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of process design and engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills to rally teams and inspire results.
  • A track record of leading successful projects from start to finish.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced industrial environment.

This position will maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to Campbells standards and project deliverables while directly managing overall project execution. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
