Job summary

Furlani Foods, LLC is seeking a Plant Project Engineer to lead local capital projects from concept through startup and to support annual capital planning across all facilities. You will work with master bakers and product development teams to improve manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong project management, experience with equipment installations, and proficiency in AutoCAD, with travel within North America and Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, food production, engineering, or capital project management.
• Experience managing equipment installations and capital projects.
• AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Strong problem solving, sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate equipment suppliers, contractors, plant teams, and engineering resources.
• Provide engineering support to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and utility systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Work with plant teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Travel required: within North America and Europe.
