Harpe Associates & Cemcon in Greencastle, IN seeks an experienced Plant Project Engineer to manage capital and plant improvement projects from development through installation and commissioning. You will develop budgets, schedules and scopes, and oversee design, purchasing, installation and startup activities.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical/electrical project engineering, with cement/heavy industrial experience preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical project engineering experience.
• Experience in cement/heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Experience managing capital projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

We are seeking an experienced Plant Project Engineer for a cement manufacturing facility in Greencastle, IN. This position will manage capital and plant improvement projects from development through installation and commissioning.

What You'll Do

Develop project budgets, costs, schedules and scopes

Manage engineering projects through design, specification, purchasing, installation and commissioning

Coordinate contractors, vendors and plant departments

Support mechanical and electrical plant improvement projects

Assist with electrical power and control system projects

Track project schedules, costs and progress

Support construction activities and project execution within an operating manufacturing facility

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical project engineering experience

Cement, aggregates, mining or related heavy industrial experience strongly preferred

Experience managing capital projects from concept through completion

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project

Ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, contractors and vendors

Ability to travel occasionally to other facilities
