Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Supervisor to guide the department in creating and maintaining a safety-focused culture, producing quality products, and improving plant efficiencies. The role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and hands-on supervision across shift teams.

You will oversee daily operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with plant leadership and staff across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in the packaging industry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or training experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and ensure safety procedures across the plant.
• Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff.
• Monitor, measure, and report on production processes and performance.
• Communicate effectively with staff, verbally and in writing.
• Identify root causes and drive fast, effective corrective actions.
