Job summary

Veritiv in Kentucky seeks a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in the plant, ensuring production efficiency, safety, and quality. You will coordinate activities for corrugated carters and inner packaging, supervise teams, enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to changes.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Monitor machinery and equipment, report maintenance needs and suggest improvements.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff ensuring safety and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of sheets, inks, and supplies with timely data entry and retrieval.
• Inspect work in progress and finished goods for quality and adjust workflows as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
• Handle shift transitions and prepare performance evaluations.
• Analyze production reports to troubleshoot issues and reduce delays.
