Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Boonton, NJ is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day management of a designated manufacturing area, including assembly, test, inventory and material flow activities.

You will serve as the operational leader of the value stream, ensuring labor utilization, schedule attainment, inventory accuracy and SAP integrity while collaborating with Planning, Materials, Engineering and Quality to meet customer commitments and maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience supervising production teams in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP production transactions, inventory management and COGI processes.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling and material management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and supervision for production employees and team leads.
• Direct daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules.
• Manage labor allocation and production priorities to maximize throughput.
• Monitor schedule attainment and implement recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Lead weekly production planning and S&OP meetings, providing capacity assessments.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and SAP transaction integrity.
• Drive corrective actions to reduce defects and improve yield.
• Support ISO manufacturing environment and audits.
