Steel Dynamics Inc. is seeking a plant operator to support picking, equipment operation and cleaning across our production areas. You will sort scrap, clean conveyors, and maintain equipment while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates are able to work in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs repeatedly, and collaborate effectively with the team. Equal opportunity employer committed to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to stand/work for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis.
• Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills.

Responsabilités

• Picking Line - Sort scrap to upgrade & remove nonconforming items.
• Clean any spillage from conveyors using both mobile equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain Mobile and Fixed Equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
