Steel Dynamics Inc. in Dayton, TX is seeking a hands-on general worker to support plant operations, including picking, equipment operation and cleaning on site. You will sort scrap on the picking line, upgrade items and maintain conveyors and equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates can work in various weather, stand for long periods, and regularly lift 50 pounds. A proactive team player who is eager to learn and contribute to safety and efficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking Line: sort scrap to upgrade and remove nonconforming items.
• Clean any spillage from conveyors using mobile equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain mobile and fixed equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Clean any spillage from conveyors using both mobile equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain Mobile and Fixed Equipment
• All other duties as assigned
