Steel Dynamics Inc. is seeking a capable team member to support plant operations, including picking, equipment operation and cleaning. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and a willingness to learn.

You will work on-site, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and contribute to continuous production. The position offers weekly bonuses, solid benefits and opportunities for growth.

Overview

Maintain plant operations including but not limited to picking, equipment operation and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Picking Line
• Sort scrap to upgrade & remove nonconforming items
• Clean any spillage from conveyors using both mobile equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain Mobile and Fixed Equipment
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to stand/work for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis
• Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills
