Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking a Plant Engineer in Wisconsin to lead continuous improvement efforts and manage projects that enhance equipment efficiency and safety. You will analyze plant processes, develop action plans, and drive cost reductions while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and strong project management skills. Travel is limited and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
  • Project management experience with PM tools.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience with coding and programming is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.
  • Analyze plant equipment and processes and develop action plans that improve plant performance.
  • Identify operational gaps and provide insight and recommended actions to local management.
  • Lead plant projects to decrease cost, improve safety, or improve equipment efficiency.
  • Communicate with peers within Rehrig Pacific Company to solicit and share best practices.
