Rehrig Pacific Company seeks a Plant Engineering Intern to assist in planning, design and implementation of equipment and automation. You will support safe, stable manufacturing processes through data-driven analysis.

Candidates are pursuing a BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, or Manufacturing Engineering, with project management and strong communication skills. Lean/Six Sigma or coding experience is a plus. This internship offers hands-on learning in a manufacturing setting.

Qualificações

• Pursuing BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Manufacturing or equivalent).
• Project management experience with tools/software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Coding and programming experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Leads or supports technical work within the plant (engineering, maintenance, tooling, troubleshooting).
• Maintain in-depth understanding of plant infrastructure, systems and equipment.
• Consistently reduces operational waste and costs.
• Advances Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Provides reliable technical support to the local plant and organization.
• Performs in-depth analyses to understand system gaps and issues.
• Maintains updated plant layouts, floor plans and system schematics.
