Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to lead the Engineering & Fabrication plant, directing production, safety, quality, and profitability. You will oversee engineering, shop, logistics, and safety teams, driving Lean initiatives and coordinating with project managers and executives to meet schedules and customer expectations.

The role requires strong leadership across multi‑department operations, expert scheduling, material flow, and cost control, with full P&L accountability

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience leading managers, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, costs, and profitability focus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in operations or engineering valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and long‑term operations of the Engineering & Fabrication plant.
• Drive production efficiency, safety, quality, and profitability.
• Coordinate between engineering, design, BIM, fabrication, and logistics.
• Manage production schedules, labor planning, and material flow.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
• Champion safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
