Job summary

Envirogen is a premier provider of innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions. We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our operations and be at the forefront of chemical processing, responsible for resin regeneration and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires a High School Diploma, and at least one year of experience in industrial or water treatment operations. Forklift operation and strong problem-solving skills are essential; flexibility for varying shifts is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in industrial or water treatment operations.
• Familiarity with chemical processing operations is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift to receive and move materials.
• Inspecting tanks, identifying damage, and repairing cosmetic defects.
• Operating valves and controls to apply chemicals to resin and direct effluent waste per regeneration processes.
• Monitoring meters, gauges, pressures and instrumentation during regeneration.
• Performing QA/QC on regenerated resins through sampling and evaluation.
• Trouble shoot and perform minor repairs on equipment; inform maintenance of needed repairs.
• Documenting all operational activities accurately and promptly.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational issues.
