Job summary

Envirogen Technologies in Memphis seeks a Plant Operator/CDL Driver to operate, maintain, and deliver mobile water treatment equipment across client sites. You will support installation, testing, and startup activities, ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

This role requires a HS diploma, a CDL, and at least one year in industrial or domestic water treatment; forklift experience and basic hand tools are a plus. Flexibility for 2nd shift and arithmetic tasks is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL license required.
• Minimum one year experience in industrial or domestic water treatment.
• Experience with liquid or chemical process operations preferred.
• Ability to drive a forklift and use basic hand tools.
• Flexibility to support 2nd shift hours.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, Install, and remove equipment from internal and external customer sites.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment for safe hauling over the road.
• Complete inspection reports and logbooks per DOT and company record-keeping requirements.
• Coordinate water treatment equipment delivery and exchange.
• Hook up hoses and rinse exchangeable water treatment equipment.
• Drain, disconnect hoses and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Record operational data from process instruments and meters on forms.
• Perform calculations pertaining to water chemistry and resin systems.
• Operate, inspect, adjust, and monitor process equipment for issues.
• Perform process control testing and field testing of water and wastewater.
