As a Plant Operator Trainee, you will work as part of a team to ensure the successful operation of the terminal. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, rail cars, basic maintenance, documentation, and maintaining plant operations. Essential Functions

1. Abide by safety policies and practices
2. Receive raw materials
3. Ship products
4. Manufacture asphalt products
5. Maintain operational documentation
6. Adjust plant equipment for optimal operation
7. Perform general maintenance
8. Troubleshoot process issues
9. Perform additional duties aligned with company values and skills

Qualifications

Education: Preferred High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Preferred 1+ years in the industry

Skills & Abilities: Adaptability, reliability, safety focus, accountability, teamwork, basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, production/maintenance experience

Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license required

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Access equipment via ladders and stairs
• Work outdoors
• Use Personal Protective Equipment
• Work around industrial piping and elevated platforms
• Work flexible hours
• Lift at least 50 lbs safely
• Pass physical and drug tests
