Job summary

LyondellBasell in Evansville, IN, is hiring a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant process equipment, evaluate unit status, and perform troubleshooting to maximize reliability and quality.

You will document parameters, support maintenance, follow safety and LOTO procedures, and adapt to a 7am-7:15pm or 7pm-7:15am schedule, with two days on, two days off, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position; mechanically inclined preferred
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED at time of application
• Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
• Ability to stand on feet up to 12 hours and lift a minimum of 55 lbs
• Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements, including zero safety violations and safety talks
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment during daily manufacturing
• Perform changeovers and maintain machinery
• Follow daily production run schedules and resolve quality issues
• Stage materials and prepare for shipment
• Maintain equipment PMs and records
