Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Plant Operator Lead for our Walton, KY facility to supervise production activities, ensure timely completion, and support day-to-day operations. You will check in containers, move/unload waste, and operate a forklift to load the autoclave, while guiding a team to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires strong problem-solving and organization, with emphasis on training staff, enforcing OSHA standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude with commitment to schedule and team success.
• 1+ years of lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred.
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills.
• Ability to plan, analyze and challenge the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all production activities ensuring their successful completion.
• Loads and unloads trucks and trailers on site to ensure transports are prepared on time.
• Prepares and packs customer orders for transport and moving trucks.
• Manages training and assists employees and new hires.
• Enforces a high standard of finish across all products with attention to detail.
• Adheres to budgets, time schedules and deadlines.
• Oversees OSHA requirements and safety.
• Engages in root cause analysis for production issues.
• Maintains cleanliness of production area and facilities.
• Leads and motivates staff and allocates resources.
