Axens North America in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Plant Operator II to manage daily plant operations and contribute to production targets at the AxTrap facility. The role involves operating control systems, loading via forklift, recording data, and maintaining equipment within safety parameters.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of warehouse experience is a plus, and forklift experience is preferred. Adherence to PPE and environmental policies is required.

Responsabilités

• Operate plant processes using plant control systems.
• Operate forklift safely to load/unload trucks and batches.
• Monitor parameters and adjust to meet production targets.
• Recognize equipment abnormalities and communicate with maintenance.
• Complete operating reports and environmental deviation notifications.
• Follow PPE requirements and pass respirator fit testing.
• Perform maintenance on plant and equipment including pumps, valves, vessels, and associated equipment.
• Document all operational activities via logs and computer records.
• Suggest facility modifications to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Respond to unusual operating conditions and changes in operation.
