Job summary

Pellet Technology USA (PTUSA) seeks a plant operator to support daily operations on the plant floor and in the laboratory. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, process awareness, and accurate data recording in a combined research/production setting.

Responsibilities include operating a MM I system, sampling streams, logging conditions, and coordinating with lab personnel to ensure safe, compliant production of animal feed. Night shifts require vigilance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of specialized study or trade preferred.
• Experience in production/plant settings, especially fermentation/biochemical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of PTUSA's plant operations as directed by staff.
• Operate and understand plant operations via an MMI system.
• Sample plant streams to check operating conditions.
• Make observations to improve and troubleshoot processes and products.
• Maintain logs of operating conditions and generate reports as needed.
• Input data into Excel, Word and other company software.
• Communicate with staff, lab techs and nutritionists on plant status.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with FSMA procedures.
