Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions in Texas is seeking a Plant Operator to treat wastewater, monitor water quality, and discharge compliant effluent to the city treatment works. This full-time role includes rotating shifts and occasional overtime, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mix chemicals, manage intake, sample discharges, and collaborate with other departments while maintaining a safe work environment.

If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works.

FULL TIME position with some OT expected

Schedule: 2am to 6pm availability required. We have 3 shifts and they are rotated among employees*

Scope of accountability

• Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed
• Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material
• Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations
• Performs cleanup of area as required
• Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing
• Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations
• Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times
• Always works in a safe and compliant manner
• Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments
