Job summary

ONEOK is seeking candidates for plant operator roles in the Midland, Texas area. You will gain hands-on experience operating and maintaining processing plant equipment and supporting maintenance activities in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires knowledge of compressors, motors, engines, pumps, turbines and related systems, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits. Relocation to Midland, TX is encouraged for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

Experience reading drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
Knowledge of gas processing fundamentals.
Safety-focused with handling of flammable gases.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain processing plant equipment (compressors, motors, engines, cooling equipment, pumps, turbines).
Monitor and control equipment operating conditions.
Start, stop and operate equipment.
Prepare equipment for maintenance including permitting and lockout/tagout.
Assist mechanics in repairs and report safety concerns.
Maintain logs, time sheets and safety/environmental forms.
Drive and ensure maintenance on company vehicles.
