Job summary

Rangen LLC seeks a Plant Operator to assist in producing livestock and/or aqua feed products, ensuring quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness. You may operate extruders, grinders, mixers, pellet machines, and assist with packaging, formulation, and housekeeping.

You will set up production lines, document activities, and follow SOPs and safety guidelines while supporting multiple roles and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plant operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and forklift.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• English proficiency for documentation and directions.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up of production lines, inspecting materials and blending, under general supervision.
• Operate processing equipment per SOPs and assist with quality control.
• Document all activities including processing, maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and follow safety, food safety, FDA, OSHA guidelines.
• Learn and perform multiple roles (mixing, bagging, forklift, loading) to support plant operations.
• Report safety or food safety concerns immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.
