Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to support grinding, material handling, and pollution control processes at our Texas facility. The role requires interpreting instructions, maintaining safety, and ensuring quality in daily operations.

The position focuses on operating Vertical Roller Mill and associated equipment, with responsibilities including shift handovers, equipment monitoring, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and follows procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and help maintain a zero-injury safety culture.
• Assist with plant operations including Vertical Roller Mill and related equipment.
• Monitor daily levels of ground Bottom Ash and Fly Ash in silos.
• Coordinate with Lead Operator and Operations Manager on maintenance and operations.
• Perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance on process equipment and facilities.
