Preferred Materials, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator at the Babcock Ranch facility in Florida. The role emphasizes safe operation, mechanical skills, and supporting efficient plant performance within the CRH construction materials family.

As part of the Concrete Division, you will operate equipment, follow safety policies, and contribute to production goals while adhering to company guidelines across multiple facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and complete basic mechanical repairs.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently.
• Adjusts calibration of machines and repairs as needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must be able to efficiently operate a forklift.
• Adjusts calibration of machines, makes general repairs and cleans/installs molds and all parts of the machinery as needed to maintain safe operations.
• May use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment
• Shovels, sweeps and rakes up debris from base of machinery.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with all personnel.
• Properly conducts inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation and reports any issues to maintenance.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintains a strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
• Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
• Stands for long periods of time in hot weather or current conditions
• May perform other related duties as required or directed. Including to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
