Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to support operations across grinding and material handling, with emphasis on safety and equipment reliability. The role concentrates on the Vertical Roller Mill and associated processes, performing troubleshooting and daily monitoring.

The operator will work within a safety-focused team, following blueprints and procedures, and coordinating with leads to maintain production targets while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Assist with plant operations, specifically Vertical Roller Mill and related equipment, following instructions.
• Monitor and record daily levels of ground Bottom Ash and Fly Ash in silos.
• Communicate with Lead Operator and Operations Manager regarding maintenance/operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with production/quality/maintenance processes and work performed.
• Attend safety meetings and conduct shift handover meetings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
